Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stocking stitch= knit one row and purl next row
  • Inc- increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and then into the back of stitch
  • k2tog -knit the following 2 stitches together as 1 stitch.

Pattern Description:

A handy little shoulder bag, just right to carry a few of life's little essentials, your phone and some change or your music and earphones.

It's an ideal size for "poop" bags when you are walking your four footed best friend too!!

This bag is knitted first in pure wool and then felted in an ordinary washing machine.

Any felting yarns will work well for this pattern-Look to see if the yarn is called a felting/ filz wool.
Most suppliers will say if it is good for felting but always check for hand-wash only!!


tension - 11sts x 16 rows = 10cm (4") st.st. square

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 16cm (6.5") High 14m (5.5") Wide


  • 2 x 50g (50m) balls of wool

  • knitting needles 8mm (UK 0/ US11)
