Pattern Description:

Now you see it--now you don't! These great-looking ladybug mitts have secret pockets that are hidden to protect your valuables while you use your hands. Stranding adds extra wool for extra warmth. And beads are added for extra flair. Top can be unfolded and pulled shut to cover fingers, or folded down to cover pocket and expose those texting fingers. Layer over gloves for a nifty look. So much fun to knit-- and everyone loves good-luck ladybugs!


32 sts and 30 rounds = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adult and Teen


  • 1 ball each of KnitPicks Palette: White, Serrano, and Black. #3 circular needle or five #3 DPNs (or size needed to obtain gauge), and tapestry Needle 6mm black beads and small crochet hook to attach them
