This is my my first double knitting scarf pattern.
And I love it.
Won(tm)t ever give away that beautiful scarf.
You can also make a baby blanket from the pattern just by adding an additional ladybug repeat.
And the ladybugs are such fun to knit!
Note: in double knitting the charts turn out a bit shorter than in normal knitting. So the pattern comes out a bit more compressed.
You need about 150 g of red and black 4-ply yarn each (196 - 209 m/50g). I used black yarn sckli and red yarn Versaille from Buttinette.
A picture tutorial on the two-color cast-on and an introduction to double knitting is also included in the pattern.
By adding additional repeats you can also turn it into a blanket.
Happy knitting!
