This is a dainty scarf, perfect for spring and cool summer nights, or anytime a little extra warmth is needed.
Knitting with fingering yarn on larger needles creates a light airy fabric that feels as soft as spring breeze.
Made as shown, the scarf measures 10.5 inches by 58 inches long before blocking. The scarf can be made with one skein by decreasing the number of cast on sts. Made wider, it can be used as a light shawl.
27 sts and 32 rows = 4 in/10 cm in lace patt

I am a self taught designer, having spent many hours researching and reading about the skills needed to learn clothing design. Having had much experience sewing, gave me a lot of knowledge about how clothing is constructed, which is an essential skill in being able to design. Experience knitting, gave me the tools I needed to master knitting techniques and be able to shape the fabric in the way I want. Learning is an ongoing pastime, there are always new techniques to master.
I design clothing for children ranging in age from Newborn to about 18months and I am now beginning to expand my line to include older childrens sizes up to about 10 years.
I have been published in Knit Circus Magazine and also in Petite Purls, in addition to self publishing some designs.
