I wanted a shrug that was lightweight so I could keep it on even if it was very warm. I am not fond of my upper arms and prefer to keep them covered up. It is very pretty and feminine. It matches the Bare Necessities Bag and they make a nice matching pair for a special occasion. The lace stitch is very simple it only has a 6 stitch repeat over 8 rows suitable for a beginner.
22 stitches and 32 rows over lace pattern to give 4 " x 4"
