My name is Nona and I've been an avid knitter and paper crafter for over a decade. In July of 2015, I opened a yarn shop in Edmonds, WA with my mom. It's called All Wound Up, and we hope that you will visit if you are ever in the area.
I'm married to my best friend, Dave, and we have 3 active, intelligent, and precocious kids!
I began designing patterns in 2009 in an effort to raise money for our second daughter's adoption. Now all of the proceeds of my shop, Nona Pearl Creations, is helping pay for our kids' education, as well as sports and other lessons and activities. Kids are expensive! Thank you for helping support our family with every purchase you make!
Just like a labyrinth, the twists and turns of the lace pattern in these gloves will mesmerize anyone who wears them, but even the novice knitter needn't fear the process! The cables are accomplished with well-placed yarn overs, and simple decreases (K2tog and SSK). The pattern is easy to memorize, and the gloves knit up very quickly.
