Beginner
This scarf is fun and easy to make. It would be a great beginner or advanced beginner project.
I love to design different types of scarves and use various weights of yarn. This pattern can be made using Caron Simply Soft or Lion Brand Homespun yarn - or whatever yarn you decide, really. The Caron yarn will result in a lighter weight scarf and a little shorter and less wide than the Homespun version. I like working with the Homespun and when used with this scarf pattern it makes for a nice warm scarf that can be double wrapped around your neck to keep out the cold.
The pattern is 3 pages long and instructions are row by row. You will need to use a long length circular needle, size 10.5 to hold all the stitches. You will need to be familiar with the knit stitch, increasing in knit, and doing a yarn over and knitting 2 together. The outer edge of the scarf features a lacy stitch.
You may sell your finished scarves made from my patterns.
