Basic Skills Necessary:
- basic lace techniques
Keswick is a top down triangle shawl with a twist. The shawl starts at the traditionally top center and is worked out in stockinette with a series of increases at the center and edges. However, instead of continuing on with the usual lace edging, additional stitches are cast on and the edge is worked sideways. It's knitted-on as you go.
22 sts and 30 rows = 4" / 10 cm in garter stitch
Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect yardage and size of shawl.
