  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

Kelpies are mythical water horses that, in the guise of gorgeous horses, lure unwary travelers onto their backs and then drown (and then eat) the unlucky riders in the kelpie's home body of water.

This Kelpie, though equally lovely, is much, much friendlier. With a combination of modified Japanese stitch patterns, twisted stitches and pretty passed-over lace stitches, all evoking streams and pebbles, Kelpie will seduce you with its delicate strength and beauty.

The cable/lace pattern is very stretchy, but these mitts do fit snugly.
