Pattern Description:

Named after the Berber queen of the 7th century, the Kahina Headband evokes strength and confidence alongside a soft feminine mystique. When western culture adopted the turban as a fashion accessory in the 18th century, women donned the accessory to portray nobility and power. Today turban inspired headbands are a functional way to stay fashionable in the cold.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Width: 4"/10cm
  • Circumference: 18"/46cm but stretches for one size fits all


  • 1 skein Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn or approx. 106 yds/97m of another super bulky weight yarn (cat. 6)
  • Size 13/9mm double pointed needles
  • Large eye blunt needle
