Pattern Description:

A slouchy tam featuring a deceptively simple lace and rib stitch. Josie is available is 3 sizes, to fit head circumferences of 21, 22, or 23".

The lacy rib pattern is a 4 round repeat that is easily memorized and quickly becomes intuitive. It's also easy to adjust the amount of slouch to just the right proportion for you.

Gauge:

20 sts and 28 rows= 4" in pattern stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small, Medium, Large (21, 22, 23")
  • Finished Brim Measurements: 17, 18, 19"

Materials:

  • Valley Yarns, Valley Superwash DK, 100% extrafine merino (137 yds, 50gm ball), Color #19: 1, 2, 2 balls
  • US 6 (4mm) 16" circular and double pointed needles
