Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • provisional cast on, knit, purl, yo, k2tog, graft

Pattern Description:

Jinlys is a very simple, yet elegant cowl with a subtle and easy to work texture, that provides just the right amount of interest.

Starting with a provisional cast-on, it's knitted flat on the bias until the final length is reached. Then both ends are grafted together using the kitchener stitch.

Final measurements are approximately 8 x 50 [20 cm x 125 cm], but you can easily vary this by either knitting more rows, so that the cowl becomes longer, or adding pattern repeats to each row so that the cowl becomes wider.
