Jewel is a lovely sophisticated accessory that can be worn long around the neck or doubled up as a cowl. The combination of the silk yarn and the delicate lace pattern gives the effect of a piece of jewellery.
It is a perfect stash buster, requiring just one skein and would make a lovely gift.
The pattern contains both written instructions and a chart for the lace design. This is a quick project and is suitable for intermediate knitters and beginner lace knitters.
The pattern also includes a "print friendly" page for the pattern so you don't need to print images or extra information if you don't wish to.
24sts and 30 rows over 10cm (4")
125 yards of Sport weight

I live in London, England and am constantly inspired by the culture and fashion of this amazing city. I have always loved the feel of yarn or fabric in my hands and enjoyed creating things by hand since I was a little girl. I now look forward to teaching my own two little girls to create and follow their inspiration.
My designs are often inspired by my latest must-have yarn or small details that I notice around me. For me, the design process is all about the pleasure of knitting and I like to strike a balance of interesting vs. relaxing to knit. The most important thing though, is to create something you’ll love to wear or are proud to give as a gift. I love the idea of helping people to create something beautiful.
I am always wondering about new techniques, how to do things better and am intrigued by new ideas – curious by name and curious by nature.
