Women, Petite, Tall, Plus-sized
Basic Skills Necessary:
- knitting in the round
This is the hand-warming part of a series of patterns I've been working on using squishy garter stitch and big loopy cables. The mitts are meant to be worn a bit slouchy and can be made as long as you'd like them to be.
20 stitches = 4"/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Small [Medium, Large]. Width across hand just above base of thumb 3 [3.75, 4.5]"/ 7.5 [9.5, 11.5] cm. Measured after blocking.
- 175-250 yards/160-229 meters heavy-sport to DK-weight yarn.
- US #5/3.75mm (or size to get gauge) for working in the round (either double points, or two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop).
You Will Also Need:
- tapestry needle
- cable needle
- stitch markers
