Pattern Description:
Enjoy filling your bag at the market or grocery and watch as it stretches to fit your purchases. Knit in the round with two strands held together, the seed stitch bottom is bordered by garter ridges. The body continues in an open pattern. A practical side pocket provides storage for your own plastic bags with access from top and bottom. Add a slip-stitch pocket and wide shoulder strap, then finish it off with an I-cord drawstring.
Gauge:
4.5 sts/in and 7 rows/in = 18 sts/4" and 15 rows/2" in Seed Stitch (ITR) on size 5(3.75mm) ndls
3 sts/in and 4 rows/in = 12 sts/4" and 16 rows/4" in Star Mesh Rib (ITR) on size 9(5.5mm) ndls

- Finished bottom diameter: 7"
- Finished height: 15.5"

- Size 5(3.75mm) dpns and circular ndls OR size to obtain gauge
- Size 9(5mm) 24" circular ndls
- Flax from Fibra Natura, 100% flax, 50g/125 yds (114m)
- 6 skeins
