Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, cable

Pattern Description:

I make LOTS of hats, and right now, this is my favorite! I like the deep color, I like the cables that travel around rather than up, and I love the yarn, Knit Picks City Tweed.

I used the yarn doubled (I held 2 strands together) throughout the hat.

Since it is worked flat as a band around the head, it is really easy to get the fit just right. You can stop a little early or work a few more rows to get a custom fit!

13 stitches in 4 inches in stockinette stitch

  • 2 balls Knit Picks City Tweed Aran, 55% Merino Wool, 25% Superfine Alpaca, 20% Donegal Tweed
