These simple baby bootees are done in garter stitch with worsted weight yarn and have a clean, classic look. Worked from the top of the cuff down with only one seam up the back, these are a quick and easy knit for knitters of all experience levels. The pattern includes 5 sizes with 4 options for the ankle band, 2 different tie options, when to change colours for different combinations as well as how to sew on no-skid suede bottoms. The top can also be turned down for a more snug fit. A quintessential bootee!

I was 4 when my grandmother taught me to knit. I have since enjoyed all sorts of needle work; crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting. However, my love is knitting and designing seamless and classic garments for children :)
