Pattern Description:
Enjoy the Indian Summer with this cute hat designed for all seasons!
Knit it up using a warm wool or angora for the colder winter months or use a light soft cotton for the warmer summer months.
Brim is knit flat and then joined in the round for the portion of the hat.
Embellish with your favorite large vintage button or two or three smaller ones.
Double your favorite lace weight Handspun to display it's beautiful qualities! This pattern requires a TOTAL of approximately 170yrds that you will split in half and double for the entire pattern.
Gauge:
18st and 24 rows = 3"X3" Square
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Adults/21"-23" head circumference
Materials:
- Approx. 170 yards Lace weight yarn (Split in half and knit held double)
- Size #6 16" Circulars
- Size #6 Dpn's
- Stitch marker
