Inca knit mittens are made using traditional stranded knitting technique. They have a peasant thumb and feature two color ribbing. The designs are inspired from andean textiles. The cat and the border pattern come from a garment panel woven between 1100- 1500 AD, while the design on the palm was loosely adapted from a poncho, circa 500-300 BC.
There is a matching hat pattern available.
