Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Twisted Stitches
  • Knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

The teenage girl in my life was in need of some fingerless gloves. This yarn and stitch pattern were the ones that caught her eye. They've become a fave.


24 stitches and 35 rows = 4 inches in Twist Squares Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Hand Circumference 71/2 in


  • Heirloom Silk Touch, 50g balls, each approx 100m (109yds) (85% Fine Merino, 10% Alpaca, 5% Silk) or any other 8ply/DK yarn - 2 balls
  • - One set of 4mm double pointed needles or size to obtain gauge
  • - 2 stitch holders
