Pattern Description:

Humayun is a triangular shawl, named after the beautiful monument "Humayun's Tomb" in India, which probably inspired the Taj Mahal's architecture...

This pattern is explained using either laceweight or fingering weight yarn and has two different charts for the border, a basic border and a more substantial one.
Wrong side rows are purled.

Finished size:
Using fingering: 74" across the top and 37" from neck to point.
Using laceweight yarn: Finished size: 68" across the top and 34" from neck to point.

This pattern has both charted and written instructions.


  • DyeForYarn - Fingering // 15ply Silk / 2 skeins
  • US 6 / 4mm circular needle

874 yards of Fingering weight
