Pattern Description:
Knit seamlessly from the top down, using Judys Magic Cast On & 2 sets of circular needles, you can knit this little hat in just a few hours. Eyes and beak are embroidered on and the ears are tied on. Features ear flaps, a comfortable fit, and nice long i-cord ties; leave them undone or tie them up tight!
Gauge:
18sts = 4" with US 8 (5mm) needles, in stockinette, in the round
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- preemie - 11.5-12" head
- newborn - 13-14" head
- baby - 14-17" head
- toddler - 18-20" head
- child - 19-20.5" head
- adult Woman - 20.5-22.5" head
- adult Man - 23-24" head
Materials:
- 65-160yrds chunky weight yarn
- US8 (5mm) circular needles (one or two sets)
- Blunt needle for weaving in ends
