My grandma Helen is an interesting woman. I'm pretty sure that's the understatement of the century, but I won't expound on her fully. She is one of the reasons that I can knit/crochet, and a few years ago she turned 90. My parent's asked that I knit her some socks for her birthday, so here's the result.
Helen socks are lacy, top-down socks that are really easy to memorize and fast to knit (no purling!). In honor of her 90th birthday, this sock pattern will be for sale for 90 cents.
8 sts x 13 rows over 1" in st stitch

I've been crafting since forever, knitting fanatically since about 2006 and designing since 2008. When not knitting, I teach university students about primates and play with my horses.
