I guess everyone has at some point found themselves drawing hearts, the both rounded and edgy shape is addictive for many reasons. Hearts lined up together make me think of baking cookies but let(tm)s try to make a shawl instead!
This triangular shawl has increases built into the hearts making the center stitch less pronounced. Yarn requirements are variable since the number of repeats can be changed.
Fuchsia shawl used 1 skein Malabrigo lace [100% Merino, 470 yd/430 m per 50g] on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles. Gauge: 22 stitches = 10 cm in Hearts and Purls. Blocked size A x B: 70 x 145 cm (28 x 57 inches).

I'm totally addicted to knitting lace shawls and have now gone from altering existing designs to actually creating my own.
