Pattern Description:

A very special chunky garter stitch beanie hat with a pretty cluster of three handknit flowers.
A beautiful newborn gift for you to make.
I wanted to design a hat that was easy to knit but also looks so special and pretty.
This hat is knitted with any wool that recommends 9mm (US#13) needles. If you have some DK in your unused stash that you would like to use up...... just knit with 3 strands to make this chunky hat. The hat in this photo is knitted with 3 strands of DK wool. The flower is knitted with one strand of DK Double knit wool on 4mm needles to make a lighter/finer flower.

Materials:

Hat - Between 30gms and 70gms depending on the size knitted. Use any yarn that recommends 9mm (US#13) needles. or knit with 3 strands of DK to get the same thickness of wool. small amount of DK Double knit for the flower

You Will Also Need:

Use a pair of 9mm (US 13) straight needles for the hat, Use a pair of 4mm (US 5) straight needles for the flower.
