Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knitting in the round
  • Knitting with a small circumference ie: DPN's
  • Knit stitch
  • Purl stitch

Pattern Description:

A simple design using basic stitches, ideal as your first gloves to knit in the round.
Using moss stitch and basic knitting to achieve a pair of lovely warm fingerless gloves.
These knit up so fast you won't have time to think about the dreaded 2nd glove syndrome. You could have a pair knit up in one night.


12 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Moss Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adult
  • Finished width: 20 cms (8 inches) laid flat with no stretch
  • Finished length: 18 cms (7 inches)


  • Mirasol Sulka or another Chunky / Bulky / 12ply yarn
  • 7.0 mm DPN's
  • US 8 - 5.0 mm DPN's

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch Marker
  • Yarn Needle
  • Tape Measure

Suggested yarn:

55 yards of Chunky weight
