Pattern Description:

This pattern demonstrates a technique for making knitted or crochet jewelry. One skein of Bonsai will make at least 2 necklaces. The edging and the neckband of both necklaces is crocheted.


Not important


  • Berroco Bonsai - 1 skein
  • Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook (both versions)
  • Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook (both versions)
  • 32 donut beads or beads with large holes
  • 1 centerpiece type bead
  • 1 button (with large enough holes or shank)
  • Size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles (if knitting)
  • Stitch markers (if knitting)
