- Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook (both versions)
- 32 donut beads or beads with large holes
- 1 centerpiece type bead
- 1 button (with large enough holes or shank)
- Size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles (if knitting)
- Stitch markers (if knitting)
