Pattern Description:

A garter lace edging makes this simple hat as special as the yarn it's knitted from! Perfect for the whole family, and using just one skein of Koigu Kerstior about 50 grams of your favorite dk or light worsted yarn.
The hat's name is a little bit of a pun: my model is my daughter Grace, but I also like the way the garter lace curves gracefully around the wearer's face.

18.5 sts and 28 rows equal 4 inches in st st with larger needle. Row gauge is not crucial, but may effect yarn requirements.

Annika Barranti on

I grew up in a crafty household. My mom sews, weaves, and dabbles in lots of other fiber arts, while my dad is a musician (timpani) and photographer (portraits). I got my first camera and my first loom when I was five!

I didn't start knitting until my mid-twenties, but I've done my best to make up for lost time.
