Pattern Description:

Here in the Northeast, our spring is feeling a lot more like fall. And since Knitting Daily recently proclaimed that knitted cowls are "the new go-to accessory," we thought we would share Michelle Cali Mattingly's Give It to Me Straight Cowl in Galler Yarns Tweedy Pima.

We know from Michelle's previously published patterns for Galler Yarns that she loves knitting on straight needles, and this cowl is no exception.

Using a simple welt pattern - perfect for knitting beginners, or easy enough for "tv knitting" for more advanced knitters - Michelle's design creates textured, vertical lines.

In Tweedy Pima, the cowl is very soft and folds nicely. The cotton yarn makes it breathable and cool enough for knitting all year round.
