Pattern Description:
A pair of sweet mittens knit in Canopy Worsted. Designed with a classic owl cable motif set on a reverse stockinette background, a deep ribbed cuff and unique thumb gusset adds warmth and a streamlined fit and cute shell buttons add the finishing touch.
Gauge:
18 sts = 4" in StSt on 5.00mm needles.
*It is imperative you check gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- one size fits most adult women
Materials:
- 2 Skeins The Fibre Company Canopy Worsted, 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino, 20% Bamboo. 100yards/50grams per skein. Shown in Ginger.
You Will Also Need:
- 1 set size 5.00mm (US 8) dpns.
- 1 set size 4.00mm (US 6) dpns.
- Tapestry needle
- 4- 1/8" dia. white pearl buttons
- small piece smooth waste yarn or stitch holder
