Garden of Eden

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit in the round
  • backwards loop cast on
  • pick up and knit stitches
  • basic knowledge of lace

Pattern Description:

We were apple-picking when I shot the photo of these fingerless gloves, and I just couldn't resist the name. The vines are embossed, so they stand out in high relief, and the occasional eyelet on the leaves provides further contrast. An asymmetrical thumb gusset provides a contoured fit. The instructions include charted directions for the vine pattern as well as row-by-row written instructions, for those who prefer to work from a chart.

And...for a special surprise, wear the glove inside out, and you have an entirely different look!
