- You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, knit in a round, knit with two colors, knit two stitches together, and darn in ends of the finished work.
This double thickness, intarsia hat will keep your baby or toddler warm on the coldest Winter days. The bright spiral pattern pops against a black background. The rolled edging frames your child's face. I created this pattern to keep my daughter warm during our frequent trips to the Alps.
A 10 cm (4 inch) square, knit in stockinette stitch is 22 stitches and 24 rows.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- The hat is soft and stretchy, and can be knit in six sizes - newborn, 3 to 6 months, 6 to 12 months, 1 - 2 years, 2 - 3 years, 3 - 4 years.
