Pattern Description:

Fremont is a top-down crescent shawl with a knitted-on lace borders. The shawl starts at the top with a garter-tab cast on and is worked outward, with one lace stitch pattern flowing into the next. It's finished off with my new favorite thing - a knitted-on lace border.

The shawl can be worked in two sizes. The pattern is written for the 400 yard shawl with the instructions for the 800 yard shawl written in parentheses ( ), where necessary. If no parentheses are used, the instructions are the same for both the small and large version.
