This is my FREE Poppy Flower Buttonhole Accessory knitting pattern.
I have designed this poppy especially for all the people who want to remember their lost love ones on Remembrance Day (also known as Poppy Day or Armistice Day), but I hope you agree that it also makes a wonderful accessory to be worn anytime.
The poppy is worked flat on 2.75 mm needles in any 4ply or dk (8ply) yarn of your choice and is 2.5 inches in diameter and stands at 6 inches high. Only tiny amounts of yarn are required so its a great way of using up oddments and leftovers.
