I learned crochet at my mothers knee (mostly as a way to get me to leave her alone while she got work done.) Years later I found myself in a new state, divorced and alone. I took up knitting as a way to give my mind a new interest and focus. After all, how hard could it be? I mean, I already knew how to crochet, right? Well it was hard, but it was worth it. Now, 10 years later, I design both crochet and knitting designs and I am thinking of taking up tatting.View all patterns by designer (11) »
An absolutely adorable way to make someone's day a little brighter. Created in Brioche, this hat works up in no time and the "extras" that make it special are knitted later and added to the hat at the end. What takes this hat to the nest level is the tail! Sewn on after you complete the rest of the hat, it pulls the hat together and turns "just another fox hat" into a work of art!
This pattern is all sizes from baby to adult and the natural stretchiness of Brioche rib allows for more flexibility on sizing options.
Make one for your whole family!
