Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to knit in the round. Knowledge of lace working techniques is also helpful.

Pattern Description:

Inspired by the beautiful hand dyed yarn, this light-on-weight, but heavy-on-style tam features tiny cables which frame lacy horseshoes . Simple shaping and blocking techniques are incorporated to create the classic Tam Shape. Straight up, or tipped to the side, this smart and sassy cap just has to be lucky, don't you think?


30sts & 36 rows = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size fits most pre-teen to adult.


  • 200-250 yards of fingering weight yarn.

  • Cable needle, and stitch markers are helpful.
