Basic Skills Necessary:
- The hat is knit in the round using basic knit and purl and decreasing the top on DPNs. The flowers are crocheted and use basic stitches (Ch, SC, DC, and slip stitch).
Pattern Description:
This adorable hat is great for little girls to grown ones. A perfect hat for spring or in the winter to brighten the days. You can customize the number of flowers and leaves to your liking and mix up the colors!
Knitted in the round working from the brim up to the crown.
Flowers are crocheted and you can put as many on as you want! Or, leave them off for a plainer look. Add a leaf for some extra punch!
Sizing: Newborn to 6 months; 1-2 years; 3-4 years; Girl's size (also fits Woman S); Woman's M/L
Plymouth Jeannee DK (135 yards/ball)
1 ball each of 4 different colors
Because you only use small amounts of each color, you can get 2 hats out of this amount if you swap out the main hat color.
Gauge:
5.5 sts/inch over Stockinette stitch (or size needed to get gauge)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Sizing: Newborn to 6 months; 1-2 years; 3-4 years; Girl's size (also fits Woman S); Woman's M/L
Materials:
- 150-250 yards of DK weight yarn or light worsted
- Sample shown in Plymouth Jeannee DK
