I like lacy gloves, but didn't want a really difficult pattern. My Peaches & Creme yarn was a mottled green, and reminded me of the edge of the water at the beach where it hits the rocks. Plush the lace pattern looked like mermaid tail fins to me, so Swim for It was born.
This truly simple pattern with a 6 row pattern repeat, uses less than one skein of the Peaches & Creme yarn. What I love about mitts is how quickly they can be made. These can be whipped up in a weekend, less if you are a speedy knitter (I am not).
The pattern is written and is in English.
9 sts x 13 rows over 2 inches in stockinette stitch
I've been crafting since I was teeny tiny! I knit, crochet, and am a professional cross stitcher. I quilt, sew, and bead. I LOVE cats, and own 1 Doberman. Unfortunately, I am currently on a tight budget, so bargains and deals are definitely up my alley.
