This pattern is for children's fingerless mittens.
The unique design feature is the cute little frog motif on the back of the mittens. He is made from a combination of cabling and bobbles. I do like these little frogs, with their big feet, and little open mouths.
You can use any Aran weight wool will work well, to make a lovely pair of cosy mitts. All the pairs I have knitted have taken less that 50g, so you should be fine with one ball of wool.
The mittens are knitted flat, and there is just one seam to sew up.

I have always liked making things, and although I have been knitting a lot recently, I also like sewing and other crafts.
I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school, and have partly got back into making things because my children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
