Women, Men, Girls, Boys, Petite, Tall, Plus-sized

Skill Level:

advanced skill level requirement Expert

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • two colours-per-round knitting

Pattern Description:

A remarkable sock, with shell bobbles, flying swallow stitches and a revolutionary sideways cuff.

The most exciting socks you will ever knit or wear. Designed for knitters with a low boredom threshold. Don't worry about the length of the directions, nothing has been omitted. The sideways cuff will act as your gauge swatch and determine the size of the sock for you.
Take the knitting one round at a time and have fun!

This project is also available as a kit from my website.

While the gauge is variable, I do encourage knitters to aim for a dense durable fabric (the more firmly a sock is knit the better it will wear).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7 adult sizes are given

  • 2 or 2.5 mm dpns or circular needle
  • cable needle(optional)

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Celestial Merino Fingering Weight Yarn

Natural/Fiesta or Olive/Fiesta
