Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic Lace Knitting
  • Beadwork
  • Knitted Increases and Decreases

Pattern Description:

This graceful, shoulder-hugging, petal-edged shawl has a shaped centre back flower panel; it is worked top-down as a single piece and requires minimal finishing. The petalled edge may be embellished with seed beads, if desired.


4.5 sts per inch over Stocking Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizing is very flexible and may be adjusted with needle size.


  • 5mm Needles
  • 1000m Fingering Weight or Sport Weight Yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • stitch markers
  • optional seed beads (for edging)

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Allow approx. 1000m/1094yds of yarn. Lightweight DK/Fingering weight wool-rich yarns, or fine lofty mohair / angora blends are ideal.
