The open work design on the body of this scarf adds interest and texture by maintaining a strong vertical element that dissolves into a flowing leaf detail at the scarf ends. This pattern is enhanced by the Artyarns Beaded Silk yarn. The teal color I chose is very vibrant and has wonderful shading throughout. The Murano glass beads also add a wonderful shimmer to the whole piece. This scarf has a minimal pattern in the return rows that use only knit and purl stitches.
This pattern includes full written instructions and a chart along with abbreviations and some stitch instructions. The pattern also contains a link to a YouTube video that I posted, thereby providing a demonstration of one of the key stitches in the pattern.
