Pattern Description:

These gloves were designed to be simple, yet elegant and classic. Knit at a fine gauge, they will keep your hands warm without being too bulky. Some tiny buttons at the cuff add a beautiful finishing touch.

The gloves start knit flat at the cuff on straight needles, then change to being knit in the round on double-pointed needles. Stitches are increased into a thumb gusset for a comfortable fit.

Gauge:

28 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size - Women's medium

Materials:

  • 250yd of fingering / 4-ply yarn
  • US4 / 3.5mm DPNs

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch holders or waste yarn
  • 4 small pearl buttons
