Inspired by all the fantastic hats of the 1930s-1940s, this tilt hat uses short row shaping and blocking to get its distinct vintage lines. It is designed to sit at an angle on the head, not coming all the way down like a full size hat.
The short rows flare out the front while the back brim is flipped up.
I also have a detailed blocking tutorial for this hat on my blog!
Not important, any worsted weight yarn held doubled or similar.
By a happy accident I discovered knitting on a blog and knew immediately it was something I wanted to do. My combined love of art/design and mathematics/programming quickly led to me discovering their happy marriage in knitting design. Evenings usually find me working on my designs to the sounds of my husbandís Xbox in our home in Dallas, Texas.
