Easy Scarf in Stocking Stitch and 'Long Stitch'
This is an easy and quick to make scarf designed for standard gauge knitting machines without ribbers. Using gorgeous 4 ply King Cole Merino Blend yarn. Featuring an unusual 'long stitch' pattern which is easy to do but really unusual.
Knit it in one colour or stripes - a great way to use up your 4 ply oddments .... did I mention you can use any 4 ply as long at it knits more or less up to the tension given. Make in more muted colours for your fella, in neon stripes for your teen, pastels for the child's version.
I have a B.A. (hons) degree in knitwear design and have written for Machine Knitting News, Modern Knitting, Profitable Machine Knitting as well as yarn companies, including Bramwells and Atkinsons. I currently design for Machine Knitting Monthly.

From the time I could pick up a crayon or pair of scissors I have created, and created, and created ..... I had my first solo art exhibition at age 14!
I went on to University and took a B.A. (hons) degree in Knitwear Design at Nottingham Trent University and am now a pattern designer.
