Pattern Description:

This knitted scarflette is warm and cozy without being bulky. One end fits through the loop on the other end so that it stays in place.

They are pretty easy to knit, you need to know basic knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases. The use of double moss stitch produces a really pretty texture.

I knitted this scarflette from just one 50g ball of Rico Design Essentials Soft Merino Aran but there was only about 2 yards left at the end.

Gauge:

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stocking Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx.27 inches (70 cm) in length and 5 inches (12.5 cm) in width (unstretched)

Materials:

  • 50g/110yds aran/worsted weight yarn
  • Knitting needles in size US 8 (5mm)
  • Double pointed needle in size US 8 (5mm)
  • Tapestry needle

Suggested yarn:

110 yards of Worsted weight
