Pattern Description:

In the upcoming "Dorothy of Oz" film, Dorothy Gale decides to return to Oz in order to help her friends, so what better way to do that than with these magical lacey anklet socks. The sock colorway sports a combination of the twister which whisked Dorothy to Oz, the Wicked Witch's magical ball, and the beloved red of Dorothy's slippers from the first film.


30 sts and 42 rnds = 4" (10 cm) on US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's Small, Medium, Large To Fit: 8, 9, 10" Actual Measurements: 7, 8, 9"


  • Huckleberry Knits Cascara Fingering, 51% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon (378 yds/346 m, 4.06oz/115g skein), color No Place Like Home: 1 skein
  • US 1.5 (2.50 mm) DPNs, 2 circular needles, or 1 circular needle for Magic Loop; or size required to obtain gauge
