My name is Nona and I've been an avid knitter and paper crafter for over a decade. In July of 2015, I opened a yarn shop in Edmonds, WA with my mom. It's called All Wound Up, and we hope that you will visit if you are ever in the area.
I'm married to my best friend, Dave, and we have 3 active, intelligent, and precocious kids!
I began designing patterns in 2009 in an effort to raise money for our second daughter's adoption. Now all of the proceeds of my shop, Nona Pearl Creations, is helping pay for our kids' education, as well as sports and other lessons and activities. Kids are expensive! Thank you for helping support our family with every purchase you make!
With the introduction of such a beautiful new sock yarn, I wanted to design an equally beautiful pattern! My friend Donna brilliantly suggested yoga socks, and thus this pattern is named after her.
These socks feature slipped stitches to create the elongated X motif. They are also a great way to try out a sock pattern without the headache of knitting heels or toes. Yoga socks keep feet warm during practice, while still enabling one to grip the mat firmly. 3 sizes are included in this pattern.
