Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round and in one project

Pattern Description:

Summertime! Holidays! Water! A trip to the sea... seeing dolphins jumping along in the waves ...
Now you can take them with you for autumn and winter on this lovely little cowl.
It's only knitted in two colors throughout the project.
Lovely dolphins in wavy bands.
So it's easier to knit than you may think.

Not that important, but mine was:

Knitting gauge: 7 stitches and 8 rows = 1 x 1 inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Cowl measurements: 16.5 x 18 cm (measured flat)


  • You need: about 25 g of off-white 4-ply sock yarn, 25 g of blue 4-ply sock yarn.
  • Alternatively you can also use 4 - 5 ply Merino or Acrylic yarn instead (some leftovers will do)

You Will Also Need:

  • Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm.
  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

Suggested yarn:

230 yards of Fingering weight
