Pattern Description:

I was playing with 'naturally' occurring dimension in "flat" knitting (no short rows) when I came up with this design.

The design is extremely versatile in that you can use just about ANY type of heavy worsted or bulky yarn ( it's a great odd/partial ball stash buster). Have fun play around with.... novelty, multi stranded, textured, fuzzy, metallic, etc yarns.
These go so quick and are so unique looking, you will want to make many many more! It is also fun to add different accents more, less, or no tassels, hanging beads, shells, or charms, sew beads along the spines..the options for individualizing are endless!!
Have some fun with these, and then come show me what you've done to make them uniquely yours, by sharing here at Craftsy or on my Ravelry (LavishCraft) projects pages. I love to see what all you fantastically creative folks have done with my designs--I always say that every knitter/crocheter already a designer too, and so I try to include ways for you to make every design your own.
